Job summary

Jockey, a family-owned retailer founded in 1876, is seeking an energetic Sales Associate for our Woodburn, OR location. You will deliver exceptional customer service, meet store goals, and help grow sales while representing our brand's values.

This is a part-time role with PTO and generous employee discounts. You will greet guests, identify needs, process transactions, assist with merchandising, and uphold store standards to ensure a welcoming shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Two years of retail or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate behavior that reflects Jockey’s core values and culture.
• Establish positive relationships with guests, assuring high productivity and inclusiveness in accomplishing satisfaction goals.
• Provide a warm, sincere greeting to all guests, including current promotional message and suggestive selling.
• Engage all guests to identify their needs and utilize product knowledge to offer solutions and meet their needs.
• Promote company programs (Rewards participation, satisfaction guarantee, etc.).
• Promote awareness and excitement to grow Jockey Rewards membership.
• Assist in driving all aspects of store level sales and profitability.
• Perform various sales and register transactions including ringing purchases, processing of cash or credit payments and counting money.
• Assist with merchandising (stock, markdowns, visuals) of product in the store, in adherence to established visual standards.
• Maintain operational store standards (visuals, merchandising, inventory management).
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Support hiring and recruiting efforts.
• Other job duties as assigned
