Job summary

Dr. Martens seeks a Retail Sales Associate to be the face of the brand, sharing knowledge and passion for product with customers daily. You will be results-driven, work in a team setting, and help expand the brand footprint in the Americas.

You will deliver exceptional service, meet KPI goals, and maintain store presentation while handling transactions and merchandising tasks. This role requires flexibility for evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Previous retail sales experience, preferably in footwear or fashion apparel.
• Experience contributing to business goals and KPI targets in a team environment, preferably in retail.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly and professionally in a team environment.
• Demonstrated understanding of basic math, including calculating percentages and counting back change.
• Proficient in MS Office, retail/register systems, web-based programs, and computerized inventory systems; MPOS experience a plus.
• Ability to use initiative and be detail oriented.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Punctual in adherence to scheduled shift times.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and carry shoe boxes on stairs/ladder.
• Zero travel required; connection with our Brand and Fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Selling Dr. Martens footwear, apparel, and accessories and hitting personal and store KPI targets.
• Delivering exceptional customer service by greeting customers, sharing product knowledge, and maximizing sell-through.
• Processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Organizing and maintaining merchandise to meet brand guidelines and showcase products.
• Replenishing stock from the back room to the sales floor.
• Cleaning and maintaining store areas including stock room and front of house.

CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES

Selling Dr. Martens' brand footwear, apparel, and accessories; and achieving personal sales goals and Key Performance (KPI) targets as set forth by Store Manager.

• Delivering exceptional customer service by greeting store customers, offering product and brand knowledge, and helping to ensure and maximize sell-through, as needed.
• Processing sales transactions accurately and promptly, meeting cash register systems requirements.
• Organizing and maintaining merchandise to meet Brand Marketing guidelines and enhance product appeal.
• Replenishing the flow of merchandise from the stockroom to the sales floor.
• Cleaning and maintaining retail store front, stock room, and all employee areas, including dusting, cleaning mirrors, and vacuuming.
