Job summary

Norman’s Gift Shops, Inc. in Frederick, MD is seeking a Part Time Sales Associate to welcome customers, help them find perfect gifts, and provide a memorable shopping experience on the sales floor.

You will learn product knowledge, assist with transactions, stock displays, and support store goals while maintaining a caring, team-oriented atmosphere. Must be 16+, able to stand for long periods, and lift up to 40 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including events, holidays, evenings, and weekends.
• Strong aptitude for basic math functions including percentages and general arithmetic.
• Ability to stand/walk; frequently push/pull; occasionally bend/stoop/crawl; carry up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with customers and drive sales by delivering a caring, helpful experience.
• Meet store enrollment goals for Crown Rewards program.
• Learn and use the register system with accurate cash handling and math.
• Maintain and restock displays as directed by store management; perform additional duties as assigned.
