Qualifications

• At least 16 years old.
• Available to work a flexible schedule.
• Comfortable with or willing to learn technology (cash registers, handheld/mobile devices).
• Good communicator with the ability to engage with customers.
• Able to handle customer interactions and potential issues courteously and professionally.
• Use basic information-gathering skills to solve problems.
• Ability to learn procedural knowledge acquired through on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers promptly: approach and acknowledge customers immediately, provide assistance and handle multiple customers efficiently.
• Understand and meet customer needs: assess customer needs by sharing product knowledge, answer questions, direct them to merchandise, and offer recommendations.
• Engage in suggestive selling while staying informed on product availability.
• Promote store events and promotions: inform customers about current store events, promotions, and special activities to drive sales.
• Resolve customer concerns: address customer issues and offer alternative solutions, aiming to turn returns into exchanges when possible.
• Communicate needs to management: inform management about merchandise restocking, service requirements, and customer feedback in a timely manner.
• Support team and company goals: collaborate with the team to achieve store objectives and maintain a positive work environment.
