Job summary

James Avery Artisan Jewelry in Abilene, TX is seeking Part Time Sales Associates to greet guests and assist with selections and purchases. You will demonstrate guest service, enter sales data into POS, present jewelry from stock, and ensure items are placed correctly at sale completion.

You will help with housekeeping, attend meetings, maintain store presentation, and use product knowledge to answer questions.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests in selection and purchase of merchandise.
• Enter guest data and other sales data into POS and obtain proper signatures.
• Present jewelry from stock/cases and replace items in correct areas after sale.
• Repair, polish or solder jewelry (if over 18).
• Utilize GUESTS program when interacting with guests on sales floor or phone and handling guest owned jewelry.
• Provide knowledgeable service to guests on product information utilizing in-store tools/training.
• Box and wrap sales for gift presentation.
• Achieve established individual Key performance metrics.
• Assist Store Management in achieving store KPI metrics and in maintaining store presentation.
• Assist with daily housekeeping and maintenance duties.
• Attend required meetings.

• Enter guest data and other sales data for guests into POS (sales, returns, special orders, engraving, repairs) completely and accurately and obtain proper signatures on guest sales.
• Present jewelry from stock/cases to guest and replace items in correct areas when sale is completed.
• Repair, polish or solder jewelry (if over 18).
• Utilizes GUESTS program when interacting with guests on sales floor or phone and when handling guest owned jewelry.

• Assist Store Management in meeting company standards in overall store presentation.
