Job summary

Minis is seeking a Sales Associate to be at the heart of delivering an outstanding customer experience. You will greet customers, assess needs, and offer personalized recommendations while promoting the store's membership program to drive sales.

Responsibilities include assisting multiple customers, maintaining displays, processing transactions, and supporting promotions. A high school diploma and retail experience are preferred; willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and customer service orientation are required.
• Basic math abilities are a must for transactions and POS accuracy.
• Retail sales experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers promptly.

• Promote store programs and handle sales at the register.
• Maintain merchandising standards and organize displays.

Essential Job Functions

• Promptly greet and assist customers: Acknowledge their presence immediately, offer assistance, and efficiently manage multiple customers at once
• Anticipate and fulfill customer needs: Utilize product knowledge to assess customer preferences, answer questions, guide them to relevant merchandise, and provide tailored recommendations.
• Utilize suggestive selling techniques while staying knowledgeable about product availability
• Maintain the store’s visual merchandising standards by keeping product displays organized and attractive.
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale systems.
• Execute inventory management tasks including restocking and product organization.
• Demonstrate comprehensive product knowledge to effectively recommend and sell merchandise.
• Maintain a clean and professional store environment.
• Participate in store promotions and sales events to support overall business objectives.
• Ability to access and organize stock in high storage areas, ensuring efficient retrieval and placement while following safety protocols.
• Available to work a flexible schedule that supports the business, including days, evenings, weekends, and potential overnight shifts and travel as necessary.
