You will perform diagnostic vascular studies to ensure high-quality care for patients in a busy lab environment. The role requires coordination with clinical staff, adherence to regulations, and timely reporting of study results.

Qualifications

• Effective communication and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Experience in vascular studies and quality assurance processes preferred.
• RVT certification (ARDMS) required or strongly preferred.
• BLS certification required; bachelor’s degree is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Participate in QA programs and maintain lab certification by meeting accrediting requirements.
• Coordinate patient care by reviewing daily schedules to ensure timely support.
• Perform diagnostic carotid and venous studies on upper and lower extremities per ICAVL guidelines.
• Prepare preliminary reports with measurements for physician review and interpretation.
• Educate patients by providing instructions and answering questions about procedures.
• Recognize abnormal studies and promptly alert physicians for next steps and documentation.
