Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year coaching experience.
• High school or collegiate athletic participation or coaching is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to relate effectively with students, coaches, staff, parents and administrators.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities simultaneously.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends on a frequent basis.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates thorough knowledge of sport and NFHS/CIF rules and regulations; teaches skills, tactics and techniques.
• Organizes and supervises well-planned practices and games; prepares teams for competition.
• Models ethical, professional behavior and positive attitudes with student-athletes, coaches, parents, officials and spectators.
• Develops team concepts within Parker's values-driven framework; promotes sportsmanship and respect for game rules and officials.
• Assists student-athletes to reach their full potential and provides an engaging environment.
• Handles administrative duties such as grade checks, eligibility, timesheets and inventory; coordinates equipment and budgeting as needed.
