Job summary

Banner Churchill Community Hospital in Fallon, Nevada seeks a Registered Respiratory Therapist to join a collaborative team. The part-time position offers 24 hours per week with 12-hour shifts, delivering a full range of respiratory care and diagnostic testing across patient populations.

The role requires an NBRC RRT, current Nevada license, and BLS. Prior acute care experience is preferred. The hospital serves rural northern Nevada with comprehensive services and a focus on quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Associate or technical degree required.
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required.
• Nevada state license required.
• Blood Gas Technologist certification preferred/required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Performs all basic modalities of respiratory care as prescribed.
• Manages mechanical ventilators with physicians and adjusts to improve condition.
• Assembles, disassembles and maintains respiratory care equipment.
• Performs pulmonary/cardiology diagnostic testing.
• Assesses patients and documents therapy per policy.
• Collaborates with care team to plan and modify therapy.
• May supervise department staff.
• Provide respiratory care across multiple units as needed.
