Job summary

Medi-Weightloss Franklin is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse for our Franklin, TN clinic. This part-time role focuses on building patient relationships, providing education, and supporting long-term health goals within a physician-supervised weight-loss program that includes BHRT and IV therapy.

Responsibilities include collecting histories, performing assessments, IV starts, and educating patients on care plans while collaborating with supervising providers.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Tennessee RN license.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• At least one year of clinical RN experience.
• Proficiency in peripheral IV insertion, infusion monitoring, blood draws, and injections.
• Strong nursing assessment, patient education, and communication skills.
• Reliable Saturday availability and EMR documentation proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and document patient histories, vitals, and nursing assessments.
• Support medical weight-loss and BHRT care plans established by supervising provider.
• Perform blood draws, collect specimens, and obtain ECGs as ordered.
• Start IVs and administer IV therapies, medications, and injections per orders.
• Monitor patients during/after treatment; recognize adverse reactions and escalate when needed.
• Educate patients on medications, injections, treatment instructions, and follow-up steps.
