St. Luke’s University Health Network is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Urgent Care team.

The RN will deliver nursing care across the life span, assess plans, implement and document care, and collaborate with physicians and staff to support occupational health services including physicals, drug screens, and injury care. The role emphasizes adherence to the Pennsylvania Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies, professional development, and participation in performance improvement

Qualificações

• Registered Nurse with current license to practice in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Successful completion of BLS.
• Experience in occupational medicine and urgent care is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of the Registered Nurse.
• Provide essential medical care to both urgent care patients and occupational health patients.
• Demonstrates knowledge of procedure done in this area and is able to assist physician as indicated.
• Implements, evaluates, and documents patient care interventions and effectiveness in accordance with care plan.
• Maintains responsibility for own professional development through active participation in in-services and/or continuing education programs.
• Develops, evaluates, and adjusts current and future staffing based upon patient care needs; initiates adjustments as needed.
• Assigns responsibility for patient care with the unit-based team.
• Facilitates staff education activities (i.e. orientation, competency, skill reviews, mandatory in-servicing).

Formação académica

Registered Nurse with current license to practice in the state of Pennsylvania.
