Job summary

Ardent Health seeks a part-time, variable-shift Patient Logistics Coordinator RN (PLC-RN) in Tyler, TX to manage patient admissions. You will conduct initial screenings, triage, and coordinate transfers with facilities, physicians, and hospital teams to ensure timely, appropriate care.

The role requires RN licensure, EMTALA proficiency, and strong communication and organizational abilities. A supportive team environment and opportunities to improve throughput are provided.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and RN licensure.
• Experience in acute care and EMTALA knowledge.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate admissions/transfers for emergent, urgent and elective patients.
• Triage patient acuity and prioritize admissions by urgency and resources.
• Document and share patient information with physicians, nurses and staff.
• Monitor throughput and identify barriers to improve processes.
• Serve as liaison between referring facilities, physicians and hospital departments.
• Maintain accurate EHR data and ensure policy compliance.
