Job summary

Duke University Hospital in Durham, NC is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the Melanoma Surgery unit. This role requires BSN and active NC RN licensure with BLS, plus at least 12 months of clinical experience.

You will deliver comprehensive nursing care, document care plans, and collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes. You will lead a care team, delegate tasks, and participate in ongoing professional development and performance improvement

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited BSN program.
• Must have current or compact RN licensure in the state of North Carolina; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, provide, supervise and document professional nursing care.
• Delegate tasks and supervise other licensed and unlicensed care providers.
• Act as team leader or charge nurse for a group of patients or an entire unit.
• Participate in performance improvement activities and related duties.
