Job summary

Connections in Ohio, Inc. seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse to train staff in medication administration and support health needs for clients. Part-time role with 15–20 hours/week; starting pay $40 per hour. Requires reliable vehicle, flexible schedule, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

The RN will train Direct Support Professionals, assist with injections, and coordinate with the full‑time RN on health-related activities while maintaining on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• A current Registered Nurse license.
• A current DoDD Trainer certification for Direct Support Professional Medication Passing course.
• An ability to stay organized while managing multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient knowledge of iPhone, Windows, and Microsoft Office including: OneDrive, Excel, Word, Routing texting/phone calls, Google Calendar.
• A valid Ohio driver’s license with 4 points or less on the individual BMV driving record.
• A safe, reliable vehicle coupled with state minimum required auto insurance covering that specific vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide Medication Administration Certification training to Direct Support Professional bi-weekly for two days.
• Assist with administering subcutaneous and intramuscular injections to company clients weekly as needed.
• Assist with other health related activities as needed in coordination with company full‑time RN.
• Maintain " on call" responsibilities, including making decisions related to medication administration and health care needs
