Job summary

Samaritan Daytop Village, Inc. in Huntington Station is looking for a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct nursing care to clients. This role requires assessing client health status and developing care plans.

The ideal candidate will have NYS RN licensure and an Associate’s Degree in Nursing. Experience in working with clients with Substance Use Disorder is preferred. Flexible hours are available to accommodate staff and participant needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-3 years demonstrated experience as an RN preferably with clients with Substance Use Disorder or Serious Mental Illness.
• Available to work a flexible schedule as needed.
• Team player and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Assesses health status of clients and develops a plan of care.
• Performs Nursing Intake/Medical History and triages sick calls.
• Monitors lab values and ensures continuity of care.

Skills
