Job summary

Methodist Hospital Specialty and Transplant in San Antonio is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse II for the Resource Team to deliver high-quality patient care and advocate for patients and families. The RN will follow the nursing process, collaborate with the patient care team, and maintain safety and professional standards while supporting Methodist Excellence goals.

Qualifications

• RN license requirement and active state licensure.
• 6 months acute care RN experience required.
• Demonstrates leadership, critical thinking and patient advocacy.

Responsibilities

• Apply nursing judgment using the nursing process across assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Collaborate with the care team and communicate using SBAR.
• Document thoroughly in the patient’s medical record addressing all steps of the nursing process.
• Supervise tasks delegated to unlicensed personnel and ensure safety.
• Promote safety and quality through adherence to hospital policies and procedures.
