Qualifications

• Requires current Michigan Nursing License.
• BSN degree preferred or must agree to obtain within five years.

Responsibilities

• Functions as the RN Care Manager in the Operating Room, sharing accountability with other Care Managers on all shifts.
• Assist patient/families in achieving outcomes and manage continuity of care with the health care team.
• Facilitate patient movement through the perioperative experience.
• Under general direction of the surgeon, provide direct patient care as a first assistant during surgical intervention.

RNFA program completed

RNFA exam completed

BLS Certification

CNOR Certification preferred
