Job summary

Mercy South is seeking a part-time RN to provide patient care during day shifts. The role requires adherence to Mercy Service Standards and collaboration with the care team to evaluate and coordinate patient care while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality.

Qualifications include graduation from an approved nursing program and an active RN license in the recruiting state. BLS is required; additional certifications may be required based on unit assignments.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a school of nursing (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).
• Maintain current RN license in the hiring state and meet state board requirements.
• BLS certification required; ACLS/other certifications may be required depending on unit.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for patient care for assigned patients.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments and preserves patient rights and confidentiality.
