Job summary

Mercy Aurora is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver patient-centered care using the nursing process. The RN will coordinate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure safe, effective outcomes in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The ideal candidate will hold an accredited nursing degree, an active RN license in Missouri, CPR certification, and strong communication and critical thinking skills to support Mercy's mission and service standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Missouri RN License or RN Temporary Permit.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Coordinate patient care with physicians, departments, and team members.
• Provide patient and family education, including discharge instructions, and document understanding and response.
• Maintain accurate, timely, organized, and confidential patient documentation.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to support excellent patient care outcomes.
