Job summary

Woodstock Health Care Center in Woodstock, OH is hiring a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for a part-time first shift (6am-6pm). You will assess residents, administer medications, monitor vitals, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Nursing and an active RN license. Excellent communication and critical thinking are essential, with experience in long-term care preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent.
• Current, unencumbered RN license.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong critical thinking, clinical judgment, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in long-term care or rehabilitation settings preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents' health conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians; maintain documentation.
• Monitor vital signs and report changes promptly to staff/physician.
• Communicate with residents and families, providing education and reassurance.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for coordinated care.
• Document patient progress and outcomes in EMR accurately.
• Stay current with nursing best practices, research, and compliance requirements.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance clinical skills.
• Support a positive, family-like atmosphere through teamwork and communication.
• Perform other duties as assigned to ensure optimal resident care.
