Job summary

Sherwood Oaks Post Acute in Thousand Oaks, CA is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to supervise day-to-day nursing activities during your tour of duty and ensure quality care in compliance with federal, state, and local standards.

You will work with the DON/ADON, participate in policy development, and lead the nursing service team to maintain high standards of patient care, safety, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Current California RN license.
• Experience supervising nursing staff in long-term care.
• Knowledge of federal and state regulations for skilled nursing facilities.
• Ability to develop policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities during shifts.
• Ensure Nursing Service Procedures Manual is current.
• Report to Director of Nursing and participate in QA.
• Attend committee meetings and provide reports.
• Manage staffing and assignments.
• Ensure adherence to patient care plans.
