Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years post-graduation nursing experience and active state RN license.
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 5 years post-graduate experience preferred (RN Case Manager preferred).
• Five years acute care nursing experience preferred; discharge planning or nursing management experience preferred.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certificate preferred.
• Knowledge of Milliman Criteria and InterQual Criteria preferred.
• Basic to intermediate computer skills.
• Behavioral Violence Prevention Training within 3 months of hire and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quality and resource management for all admitted patients.
• Promote cost containment and coordinate care with healthcare providers.
• Perform admission and concurrent review of medical records for necessity and intensity.
