Job summary

New Leaf Behavioral Health is seeking a part-time Billing and Revenue Cycle Specialist to oversee insurance claims, manage bookkeeping tasks, and support client account inquiries. This role helps ensure accurate revenue cycle operations, resolves outstanding balances, and maintains precise financial records.

You will review claims, follow up on denials, perform deposits and reconciliations, and communicate with clients and clinicians about balances and EOBs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, healthcare administration, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of medical billing or revenue cycle experience preferred.
• Experience with insurance claims, EOBs, and managing denials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage insurance billing activities, including claim review, submission, and follow-up.
• Investigate unpaid claims, appeal denials, and resolve payer balances.
• Perform routine bookkeeping: record payments, reconcile accounts, and prepare deposits.
• Maintain organized financial records and assist with month-end reporting and revenue tracking.
