Job summary

Work World in Commerce, CA is hiring a part-time Retail Supervisor to lead daily store operations and deliver exceptional customer service. You will open/close the store, supervise floor activity, assist customers in-store and by phone, and ensure product knowledge is shared with shoppers.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in retail, strong communication, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to stand, lift, and climb as needed. This role offers competitive pay and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of retail customer service experience preferred.
• Willing to work nights and weekends.
• Excellent Customer Service.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Basic math skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Demonstrated selling skills.
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance.
• Must be able to climb a ladder.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Bi-Lingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store
• Direct workflow on the sales floor
• Assist customers with request in store and on the phone
• Demonstrate knowledge of products and services to customers
• Greet customers in a friendly and polite manner
• Keep store neat and clean at all times
• Ring up customers at the cash register, take payments, and issue receipts
• Keep an eye on inventory levels and restock shelves as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager
