Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store is seeking a part-time Retail Store Processor to sort, tag, and price donated items and help keep the store organized. You will support production goals and work with a team to ensure smooth daily operations.

Training is provided, with ongoing coaching and a focus on developing retail and customer service skills. This role includes evenings, weekends and holidays as scheduled and offers an employee discount and assistance program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or current pursuit is required.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Basic math and computer skills for daily tasks and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise.
• Help track and report production numbers.
• Move processed merchandise to the sales floor.
• Receive trucks and assist with loading/unloading and moving merchandise.
• Maintain clean work and storage spaces.
• Collaborate with team to meet daily production goals.

Job description

Location: Oxford MI Pay: $13.37 - $15.73 per hour Job Type: Part-time Schedule: 24 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

About the Role

At The Salvation Army Thrift Store, your work helps turn donations into funding for programs that support people in our community. We are looking for a motivated, dependable Retail Store Processor to process and prepare donated goods, keep the store organized, and help meet production goals.

What You’ll Do

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise
• Help track and report production numbers
• Move processed merchandise to sales floor
• Receive trucks and assists to load, unload and move product to the correct departments
• Maintain clean work and storage spaces
• Work together with team members to meet daily production goals for merchandise processing and store stock
