Job summary

Circle K in Baileyville, ME is seeking a part-time team member to assist with merchandising, stock management, pricing and customer service. You will ensure products are properly displayed, deliveries are accurate, and displays are maintained.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 16 years old.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in retail sales preferred.
• Ability to work as scheduled including arriving to work on time.
• Ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand.
• Ability to perform the four basic arithmetic operations (add, subtract, multiply and divide) preferred.
• Ability to perform essential duties and physical functions described below.
• Ability to work in the conditions described below.

Responsibilities

• Merchandising: monitor and ensure product areas are stocked, rotated and displayed to ensure freshness, appeal and customer access.
• Ensure grocery deliveries are accurate, stocked, displayed, and priced correctly.
• Complete build-to’s for ordering/purchasing merchandise.
• Maintain inventory by checking in delivery, pricing items, and stocking merchandise.
• Validate deliveries by verifying invoices and resolving discrepancies with Store Manager.
• Prepare displays by assembling, dating and price marking in-store displays.
• Customer Satisfaction: provide prompt courteous customer service and greet customers as they enter.
• Resolve routine customer concerns within guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment; perform housekeeping and safety checks.
