Job summary

ScanScape is hiring a part-time Retail Scan Associate in Pittsburgh, PA to visit designated stores weekly, scan product barcodes, and help improve sales performance. Shifts average 6–14 hours per week across all stores, with occasional extra hours for special projects.

You'll use a mobile app to scan barcodes, collect data, and contribute to client reporting. The role offers flexible hours, some travel reimbursement, and a path to 401(k) eligibility, with ongoing opportunities over 52 weeks.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Able to stand for long periods and reach/lift up to 25 lbs.
• Able to perform repetitive movements with hands/arms/legs.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Deadline-driven self-starter with reliable Wi-Fi.

Responsibilities

• Visit designated stores weekly to scan barcodes on displays and aisles.
• Use a mobile app to scan barcodes across locations.
• Provide quantity data for about 45% of scanned products.
• Complete display scanning across the store weekly.
• Participate in occasional Custom Projects adding 1–2 hours per store.
