Circana is hiring part-time Retail Scan Associates to visit local stores in Maryland and scan barcodes for in-store data collection. The role involves weekly responsibilities across grocery, convenience, drug, and other retailers, with flexible hours and 52 weeks per year commitment.

You'll use a mobile app for scanning, perform display scanning, and tackle occasional Custom Projects. The base hours are 3–7 per week, with additional hours for special projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 with a valid driver's license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance.
• Able to stand for long periods and reach throughout the store.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds and reach up to 6 feet.
• Able to perform repetitive movements.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Deadline-driven self-starter with reliable Wi‑Fi.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Scan barcodes in grocery, convenience, drug, and other stores using a mobile app.
• Perform in-store data collection at assigned local retailers every week for 52 weeks a year.
• Complete Display Scanning across the store each week; can take several hours.
• Handle Custom Projects adding 1–2 hours of work per store during peak weeks.
• Meet weekly deadlines and deliver accurate quantity data for about 45% of scanned products.
• Report to the store within the described deadline and follow scheduling details.
• Maintain dependable work habits and adapt to client requirements and schedules.
