Job summary

Circana is hiring part-time Retail Scan Associates to visit local retailers weekly and scan product barcodes across displays and aisles. The role involves using a mobile app to capture data at grocery, drug, pet, and mass merchandise stores for major brand retailers.

The base schedule averages 2.5–4 hours per week per store, with occasional extra hours for special projects, including higher demand in January–June. A reliable Wi‑Fi connection is essential.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver's license.
• Reliable vehicle with insurance coverage.
• Able to stand for long periods and access products throughout the store.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Able to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms and legs.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be deadline-driven and have reliable Wi‑Fi.
• Must be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-store data collections at assigned local retailers every week for 52 weeks a year.
• Scan barcodes in various store locations using a mobile app.
• Work across grocery, convenience, drug, pet, and mass merchandise stores for major brands.
• Report to stores within deadlines and complete Display Scanning weekly.
• Assist with additional projects (Custom Projects) that add 1–2 hours per week per store.
