Job summary

ScanScape offers a part‑time Retail Scan Associate position. You will visit local stores each week to scan product barcodes and collect data for client insights. Work is largely independent with flexible hours and occasional extra hours for special projects.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, a reliable vehicle, stamina to be on your feet, and basic tech skills to operate a scanning app. Training provided.

Qualifications

Must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license.
Reliable vehicle with current insurance.
Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
Access to reliable Wi‑Fi and tech‑savvy use of mobile apps.
Deadline‑driven, independent worker with attention to detail.
High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

Visit designated stores weekly to scan barcodes at displays and aisles.
Use a mobile app to scan barcodes across multiple locations.
Provide product quantity data for about 45% of scanned items.
Complete in‑store data collection and display scanning weekly.
Participate in Custom Projects that add 30 min to 2 hours as needed.
Meet weekly deadlines and maintain data quality for clients.
