Job summary

89th & Madison in Minnesota is hiring a Sales Associate to guide customers, connect with shoppers, and help them find their personalized look. You’ll contribute to stocking and store upkeep while delivering a friendly, inclusive service.

You’ll meet monthly and yearly sales goals, process POS purchases, cross-sell products, and support a collaborative team. We offer flexible shifts, employee discounts, wellness programs, and monthly bonus incentives.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience in retail sales or similar role.
• Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
• Proficiency in English.
• Basic Math skills.
• Hands-on experience with POS transactions.
• Familiarity with inventory procedures.
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
• A friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus.
• Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner.
• Availability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
• Welcome customers to the store and answer their queries
• Follow and achieve department's sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis

• Maintain in-stock and presentable condition in assigned areas

• Process POS (point of sale) purchases
