Job summary

Ohio Valley Goodwill Industries Rehabilitation Center, Inc. seeks a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate to deliver friendly, professional service at the store.

You will greet customers, process sales at the POS, and support merchandising and store presentation to ensure a safe, enjoyable shopping experience. The role requires reliable attendance, ability to work flexible hours including weekends/holidays, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Flexibility to support store opening, production and closing ops.
• Able to communicate in English with customers and OVGI associates.
• Excellent sales and customer service skills.
• Ability to anticipate customers' needs.
• Process transactions through computer and POS systems.
• Basic math and cash handling; count change accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, friendly service to customers in-store and by phone.
• Process sales transactions at the POS accurately.
• Work a flexible schedule set by the supervisor, including weekends/holidays.
• Maintain knowledge of merchandise and answer questions courteously.
• Maintain dressing room standards and store presentation.
• Assist donors and customers and provide receipts as needed.
• Communicate store messages and perform housekeeping duties.
