Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in St Clair Shores is seeking a friendly Retail Sales Associate to greet customers, operate the register, and keep the store organized. You will contribute to a welcoming shopping experience for customers and donors in a community-focused, mission-driven environment.

This part-time role offers 25 hours per week, evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled. Training is provided, with ongoing coaching and support from store leadership to build retail and customer

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful service
• Operate the register and process sales transactions accurately
• Help open, close, and balance the register as assigned
• Restock merchandise and keep displays neat and easy to shop
• Help sort, prepare, and move merchandise to the sales floor
• Keep the store clean, safe, and organized
• Work with team members to support daily sales and production goals
