Job summary

Amazing Intimate Essentials in the Boston area is seeking a part-time Retail Sales Associate to promote sales by engaging with customers and applying knowledge of trends to enhance their experience. Earn commission on sales in addition to base pay.

Your role will include educating customers on products, maintaining a customer-first selling environment, and contributing to a collaborative team that delivers excellent service. Flexible schedule, nights and weekends, approx. 15 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Desire to work with a diverse customer base and sell novelties and apparel.
• Ability to communicate with customers and employees.
• Proven ability to set and achieve sales goals.
• Quick learning of new procedures and processes.
• Ability to receive feedback and take appropriate action.
• Ability to maneuver around sales floor and stockroom; standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Influence customer buying decisions by educating customers on products, offers and specials.
• Maintain a selling environment focused on the customer first.
• Work as a team to ensure each customer receives the best service possible.
• Adherence to all retail policies and procedures.
• Perform daily department maintenance tasks including stock work, re-merchandising, display, price markdowns, transfers and light cleaning.
• Other duties as assigned.
