Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Auburn Hills is seeking a friendly Retail Sales Associate for part-time work. You will greet customers, process sales at the register, restock and organize merchandise, and help maintain a clean, inviting store environment.

You’ll balance the register, work with a team, and support daily sales and production goals. Training provided with paid onboarding and ongoing coaching to build retail and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or actively pursuing one.
• Need ability to provide friendly customer service and teamwork.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift merchandise.

Responsibilities

Location: Auburn Hills MI Pay: $13.73 - $ 15.73 per hour Job Type: Part-time Schedule: 25 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

About the Role

At The Salvation Army Thrift Store, your work helps turn donations into funding for programs that support people in our community. We are looking for a friendly, dependable Retail Sales Associate to provide great customer service, keep the store organized, and help create a welcoming shopping experience for customers and donors.

What You’ll Do

• Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful service
• Operate the register and process sales transactions accurately
• Help open, close, and balance the register as assigned
• Restock merchandise and keep displays neat and easy to shop
• Help sort, prepare, and move merchandise to the sales floor
• Keep the store clean, safe, and organized
• Work with team members to support daily sales and production goals
