Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support retail pharmacy operations under supervision. The role includes clerical tasks, data entry for customers and prescriptions, inventory management, and basic compounding activities.

You will process prescriptions, input insurance and patient information, handle transactions, and ensure accurate workflow steps using pharmacy systems, while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• No prior experience necessary.
• Must hold a State Board of Pharmacy registration.

Responsibilities

• Perform clerical tasks such as sending/receiving tubes, filing prescriptions, and processing mail.
• Input customer, insurance, and prescription information; facilitate prescription transfers.
• Sell prescriptions, handle cash, manage payments, and reconcile transactions.
• Order, stock, and rotate inventory; perform cycle counts and remove expired products.
• Complete data entry, contact management, and basic compounding activities.
