Job summary

LinPepCo Partnership in York, NE is seeking a Part-Time Merchandiser to stock shelves, rotate products, and set up displays across format accounts. The role includes backroom organization, and moving products to the sales floor while maintaining appealing merchandising across stores.

Ideal candidates will have basic reading/writing skills, a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and familiarity with computers/tablets. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Read and write at a level to perform job effectively.
• Valid driver''s license and insurance where required.
• Reliable transportation to accounts.
• Pallet jack or forklift certification where necessary.
• General merchandising knowledge.
• Knowledge of customer service principles.
• Basic knowledge of computers and tablets.
• Effective oral and written communication.
• Problems solving and judgement and decision making.
• Flexible to support the team and meet Company goals.
• Able to work evenings, weekends and holiday hours.
• Not required for individuals 16 and 17 years of age who report to a single account.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise store shelving, coolers and displays with products in assigned accounts.
• Rotate products in the backroom and on the shelf.
• Transport products to and from backroom to shelf location.
• Maintain backroom/back stock areas in an orderly fashion.
• Keep merchandise displayed to increase sales.
• Build customer relationships at the store level.
• Communicate with the customer upon arrival and departure from the store.
• Perform other duties as necessary.
