Job summary

ActionLink is seeking a Part-Time Retail Merchandiser in Mount Vernon, IL to support major retailer displays. You will visit stores, set up and maintain products, and ensure promotional materials are correctly placed.

The role requires 25 hours per week, Monday through Thursday, with training provided. Experience in merchandising or retail is desirable, and a vehicle is needed for store coverage.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising, 3PL, or relevant retail experience is highly desirable.
• Versatility: handle all levels of merchandising work within assigned territory.
• Attention to detail: follow complex written instructions and display diagrams.
• Independence and teamwork: comfortable working independently and collaborating when needed.
• Tech-ready: internet access, basic hand-held tools, and a Wi‑Fi/GPS enabled device.

Responsibilities

• Store visits: complete projects at major retail stores within an assigned territory to set up and maintain products.
• Purpose: ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of promotional displays.
• Scheduling: up to 25 hours per week, Monday-Thursday, 8:00am-5:00pm.
• Reporting: submit same-day digital surveys with feedback and photos for each visit.
• Travel: travel to stores as needed within the territory.
