Job summary

American Greetings is seeking a part-time Merchandiser to service multiple retail locations around Asheville, NC. You will display and maintain greeting card products, manage backroom organization, and coordinate with store management to meet schedules.

No prior experience is required; extensive on-the-job training will be provided. The role offers a flexible schedule, paid training, and a 401(k) with company match to support long-term financial planning.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• English language proficiency required.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Reliable internet access required.
• Comfort with using company-provided tablet for training and daily tasks.
• Weekend availability around major holidays.

Responsibilities

• Service stores on your assigned route, merchandising and organizing product orders.
• Display products in greeting card departments and maintain backroom areas.
• Communicate with management about service or scheduling questions.
• Work in a fast-paced retail environment with good time management.
• Collaborate with store staff during daytime hours.
• Possibly work additional days and extended hours around holidays.
• Assist with store resets including fixtures, assembly, relocation, or removal.
• Plan weekly service schedule using a company tablet.
• Work independently or in a team.
