Job summary

ActionLink is seeking a Part-Time Retail Display Installer in Lumberton, NC. You will visit stores within an assigned territory to set up and maintain product displays for brands like Microsoft, Samsung, Dyson, Bose, and Intel.

The role requires attention to detail, independent work, and the ability to travel to multiple stores during a weekday schedule. Training is provided and paid, with opportunities for higher pay on additional projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising, 3PL, or relevant retail experience is highly desirable.
• Versatility to handle all levels of merchandising work within territory.
• Attention to detail: follow complex written instructions and display diagrams.
• Independence and teamwork: work independently and with a small team when needed.
• Tech-ready: internet access, Wi-Fi/GPS enabled smart device with latest OS, laptop/desktop access, and basic hand-held tools.
• Travel ability: valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle for role responsibilities.
• Physical ability: stand, bend, stoop, climb ladders, lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Store Visits: Complete projects at major retail stores within an assigned territory to represent our clients brands by setting up and maintaining products.
• Purpose: Ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of promotional product displays.
• Reporting: Submit same-day digital surveys with feedback and pictures for each store visit.
• Scheduling: up to 15 hours per week, Monday-Friday; 8:00am to 6:00pm; no weekends or evenings.
• Travel Opportunities: Potential for more hours if covering larger regions or traveling.
