Job summary

Circana is hiring part-time Retail Scan Associates to conduct in-store data collection across multiple local retailers. The role covers 52 weeks per year, scanning barcodes with a mobile app, and providing product quantities where required.

Typical hours are 3–4 per week with potential 1–2 extra hours per store for special projects, especially January–June. Work includes physical activity and independent completion of weekly deadlines.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver's license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance.
• Ability to endure standing for long periods while accessing products.
• Lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet, bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms and legs for long periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be deadline-driven and proactive.
• Must have access to reliable Wi‑Fi.
• Must be tech savy.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-store data collections at assigned local retailers every week for 52 weeks a year.
• Scan barcodes using a downloadable app on a mobile phone across store locations.
• Provide quantity for about 45% of products scanned.
• Complete Display Scanning on the entire store weekly, which can take several hours.
• Support Custom Projects adding 30 minutes to 2 hours when requested by clients.
