Job summary

Family Dollar in Fountain, FL is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a welcoming shopping experience. You will assist customers with questions, process transactions at the register, and maintain store cleanliness and stock.

You will help unload trucks, replenish merchandise, and ensure safety and professional interactions with customers and team members. This part-time role offers flexible hours and opportunities to grow within our retail network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and team members.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash disposal.
