Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience in a Dallas store. You will assist customers, handle transactions, and keep shelves stocked while maintaining a safe, friendly environment.

The role requires basic customer service background and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs, with a focus on accuracy, teamwork, and efficiency in daily store operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery or drug store highly preferred.
• Able to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks and replenish stock.
• Maintain a positive, safe, respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Keep store areas clean, restrooms stocked, and presentable.
• Other duties as assigned.
