Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. in Belle Fourche, SD is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver a positive shopping experience. You’ll assist customers, handle transactions, stock shelves, and maintain store cleanliness.

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and prior customer service experience in retail or related fields. You must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment with friendly, professional interactions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• MUST be able to lift 30–50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment per productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Responsible for maintaining cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
