Job summary

Family Dollar LLC in Sycamore, IL is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team and deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers with questions, manage sales transactions at the cash register, and maintain store cleanliness and stock levels.

Responsibilities include receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, replenishing stock, and preserving a safe, friendly environment with customers and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs., and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, and pulling.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain store cleanliness and stock levels, including bathrooms and floors.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks; stock replenishment as per standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and coworkers.
