Job summary

Dormont Manufacturing Co. is seeking a Customer Service Associate to provide a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle sales at the register, and keep the store clean and organized.

Responsibilities include receiving merchandise, stocking, and helping with unloading trucks while maintaining a safe, respectful environment for customers and staff. Part-time role based at our New York location; lifting and movement of items are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and support unloading trucks and replenishment.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and presentable store environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
