Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate in Luling, LA to deliver a positive shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, stock shelves, and help unload trucks while maintaining store cleanliness and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and handle frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stocking.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and associates.
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, and trash removal.
• Other duties as assigned.
