Job summary

Sunrise Enterprises is seeking a part-time cashier to support its Retail Division at assigned stores (Sutherlin, Roseburg, Winston or Myrtle Creek). You will assist with daily retail operations, handle the cash register, and help process donations while upholding our standards of service and respect for individuals with disabilities.

Work hours are typically 20–40 per week with variable shifts; occasional travel between locations may be required.

Qualifications

• At least four months’ experience in retail/cashiering position.
• High school diploma or GED or acceptable combination of experience and education.
• Basic computer skills & familiarity with Microsoft office program and timekeeping applications
• Must be dependable and maintain a good attendance record.
• At least 16 years of age.
• Ability to travel to assigned locations.
• Must be able to follow directions and work both independently and in groups.
• Pass criminal history check (May include fingerprinting.) and drug test.
• Must have ability and desire to relate to people with physical/mental disabilities with dignity and respect.

Responsibilities

• Run the cash register, unload donations, stock shelves, and other retail functions.
• Assist customers with unloading donated products.
• Maintain and balance till within prescribed policies and processes.
• Provide outstanding customer service to shoppers and donors while running the cash register, unloading donations, stocking shelves, and other retail functions.
• Keep work area in a clean, safe condition.
• Attend required meetings, training, and committees.
