Job summary

AAA Club Alliance in Laurel, MD is hiring a part-time Retail Cashier. You will handle payments, greet customers, reconcile transactions, and help with upselling AAA memberships and services.

This role offers an hourly base pay of 18.82–24.00 with possible incentive pay monthly; benefits include 401k with company match, PTO, paid holidays, and free AAA membership. Notary designation or intent to obtain within 6 months is required.

Qualifications

• Previous sales and customer service experience, especially in cash handling.
• Effective written and oral communication skills for engaging customers.
• Ability to navigate multiple websites and programs in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle payments for store transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Reconcile daily transactions and prepare end-of-shift deposits.
• Greet customers and assist with needs, promoting AAA memberships and services.
• Process passport photos and issue permits as required; back up in Tag/Title and IDEMIA tasks.
