Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is hiring for an hourly, part-time associate at our Griffin location. You will greet guests, maintain a clean and organized store, and help move products to the floor while providing excellent customer service.

This role supports upselling, accurate POS transactions, and teamwork in a fast-paced retail environment. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, strong English communication, and the ability to work independently or in a team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must have good oral and written communication skills in English.
• Detail oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Must be 18 years or older to operate a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and promote the brand, upsell items when appropriate.
• Maintain a professional, friendly attitude with guests.
• Assist in moving products to the sales floor with care and urgency.
• Execute and maintain visual merchandising in-store.
• Recommend merchandise and assist during transactions.
• Handle point of sale transactions accurately with guests.
• Identify and escalate problems to management as needed.
• Communicate effectively with management and peers.
• Support teamwork and adhere to training materials and SOPs.
• Keep the sales floor neat, clean, and organized at all times.
• Follow safety and security practices and report hazards.
• Attend required trainings and meetings.
